Sales Professional (m/f)

Our customer, established in 1985, is an innovative high-tech company based in Munich, Germany. For the third decade now, the range of products and services offered by our customer comprises comprehensive solutions for automated quality assurance and production process monitoring to the solar module, flat glass, film and foil, converting, paper, optical media and semiconductor industries. In these areas our customer continues to set new standards for the inspection of surfaces through the utilization of the latest technical advances in optics and electronics. To support the sales-team in Munich we are currently looking for a  Sales Professional (m/f).

 As Sales Professional you will have a worldwide responsibility for a specific part of our clients Product Lines. Your task will be to acquire direct customers as well as Sales Representatives worldwide and to become a close partner of the new Sales Channels which have to be defined and acquired in close cooperation with the Sales Director.


The tasks / responsibilities of the Sales Professional include

  • Identify and develop suitable new customers
  • On-site sales support at the representatives worldwide
  • Drive sales projects internally and coordinate with other departments
  • Identify, develop and drive new applications and products
  • Travelling on a regular basis worldwide (approx. 30%)
  • Handle existing and develop new key account customers
  • Negotiate price and contract agreements

Your profile

  • Experienced Sales Professional with a good technical understanding and track record in selling capital equipment worldwide
  • Ideally you have an existing customer base in the plastic / packaging / woven / non-woven industry
  • Experience in acquisition of new customers
  • Strong business acumen and sales skills
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Ability to learn technical aspects fast and explain complex technical context to different level at customers
  • German and excellent English skills
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills
  • Well organised and self-motivated
