Global Account Director – SIEMENS (WORLDWIDE)

The Global Account Director for Siemens (excluding Siemens-VDO) will be responsible for the Sales and Design-In activities together with a team of two additional Sales Engineers and two Internal Sales Assistants in close cooperation with the European Marketing Organisation. To ensure that our customers sales are maximised profitably for the respective Business Units such as Mobile Phones, Multimedia, ASIC and Automotive or µController in line with the companies targets and specifically to meet their respective key sales budget.

For our sales office in Munich we are looking for a


You will be head of a dedicated Siemens Sales team in Europe reporting to the European Sales Director.

  • Responsible for the overall business at all Siemens divisions worldwide
  • Develops and implements business strategies for their respective customer together with the European Marketing Organisation
  • Report all activities within the customer account team
  • Identifies and develops business opportunities with Siemens worldwide at all levels
  • Co-develops long term business plan (5 years) based on these opportunities for Siemens worldwide
  • Generates sales budget for Siemens
  • Maximises sales for all business units
  • Monitors and Drives budget performance
  • Issues customer quotations, in coordination with the European Marketing Organisation
  • Regular customer visits
  • Presentations to Management and Senior Management
  • Negotiates price and annual contracts in conjunction with the European Marketing Organisation
  • Prepares monthly reports for their superior to include Sales Performance to Budget, Sales Forecast, Business Opportunities
  • Meets and exceeds business targets
  • Builds strong customer relationships and executes on penetration by ensuring strong Design-In focus of key products
  • Teams up and cooperates with FAEs, Customer Service and the Marketing Organisation to achieve targets

Profile of a „Global Account Director – Siemens”

  • Engineering degree in electronics
  • Customer oriented
  • At least 5 years experience as Manager of Application, Marketing, or Sales
  • Strong business acumen and sales personality
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Excellent understanding of the semiconductor environment with a strong technical background
  • Excellent German and English languages skills (oral and written)
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills are indispensable
  • Good leadership skills
  • Travelling required on a regular basis
