Our client develops complex high performance digital as well as mixed signal SoC’s /ASIC’s using leading edge technology. The SoC /ASICs and ASSP's incorporate analog and digital IP’s and use advanced packaging technology. Its products focus on a variety of applications in the fields of networking, automotive, medical, consumer and industrial equipment, with particular strengths in areas such as image /video processing, wireless networks.

To support the customers in Central Europe we are currently looking for a:

Sales Manager / Director – Central Europe (m/f/d)

Your Tasks / Responsibilities:

Responsible for the management of the Central European business, long-term customer relationship and driving growth strategy. To achieve the growth target requires:

  • To be an entrepreneur within the company
  • To play a decisive role in shaping the customer strategy
  • Lead a team of Key Account Managers and Inside Sales Assistants
  • The definition of new solutions jointly with customers with strong focus on the above-mentioned market segments
  • Development and expansion of long-term customer relationships within the aggregated value web
  • Driving Design-In activities with successful closure
  • Develop lead customers for whom and with whom next generation products will be defined, developed and manufactured
  • Develop, maintain, intensify and expand close customer relationships
  • Observe and analyze existing and emerging market trends
  • Arrange technical product presentations in-house and at customer premises
  • Plan and carry out professional product promotion activities in close co-operation with technical marketing and business development
  • Monitor and coach Account Managers
  • Analyze and evaluate business results of the team and submit regular business reports

Your Background / Skills:

  • Degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in sales of complex semiconductor products or similar complex technical solutions
  • Ability to approach both people and organizations
  • Strong negotiation and relationship skills
  • Ability to understand, analyze and synthesize complex technology
  • In-depth knowledge in one or more target markets
  • Strong strategic skills and excellent know-how in how and what you have to do, to be successful in sales
  • You are able to drive direction and set the right focus
  • You have exceptional commitment, motivation and assume responsibility
  • You have the ability to build and lead a team
  • You have a very good general appearance paired with very good presentation technique
  • You have fluent language skills in German and English
