Designer for Test m/f

Job description   

 The passionate individual is fluent in all aspects of applying Design-for-Test techniques and methodologies to complex SoCs and works closely with frontend and backend teams to build a design database that is ready for physical implementation

Job Responsibility

  • Implement DFT techniques and methodologies in complex SoCs
  • Scan, boundary scan/JTAG, at-speed scan, scan compression, MBIST, LBIST…
  • Flat and hierarchical DFT insertion and verification.
  • Optimize DFT structures within the physical implementation flow.
  • ATPG generation and simulation, test coverage targets optimization.
  • Design automation of DFT features into overall implementation flow.

Position Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • 5+ years’ experience in DFT
  • Good understanding of the IC digital flow, from RTL to physical implementation.
  • Familiar with HDL languages – Verilog, VHDL.
  • Familiar with synthesis and formal verification.
  • Hands-on experience with DFT tools.
  • Comprehensive DFT insertion experience
  • DFT experience at top and block level.
  • Good understanding in semiconductor test, characterization and manufacturing test.
  • Strong motivation to learn quickly our clients’ tools, flows and methodologies around Modus, Genus, Innovus
  • Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux, shells, programming and scripting for flow automation
  • Good communications skills and ability to work remotely
  • Team player (fluent in English)
  • Willingness to travel across Europe and work with customers Experience with low power techniques and advanced technology nodes (28/16/7nm)
  • Knowledge of Automotive Safety requirements (ISO26262, ASIL) and related implications for DFT.
  • Experience with foundry support (ATE) for production ramp-up, cost reduction, yield analysis and optimization.
